Big Sky Travel Information: All The Info You Need About Fishing In Big Sky

Beautiful Scenery & Adventure Around Every Corner - Journey To Big Sky!

5,300 Skiable Acres

Over 200 miles of trout water within an hour's drive

Easy access to a really awesome fly shop

Home to some of the most desirable recreation in Montana, the resort community of Big Sky is nestled halfway between Bozeman and Yellowstone National Park.

It’s pretty common to see moose, elk, bighorn sheep and bears wandering the streets of our mountain town, when you visit Big Sky you’ll never be too far away from adventure!

Our summer season is short and busy for a reason - great weather and plenty of awesome things to do. There’s horseback riding near Yellowstone National Park, whitewater rafting, fly fishing (of course), zip-lining down Lone Peak, and so much more.

Those of us in Big Sky love it. We have many locals, many part-time residents, and lots of visitors who enjoy our small-town friendly atmosphere. Most of the places in Big Sky are truly places where "the locals go" and our shop is one of them for sure!

We have a wide selection of recommendations for lodging, including cozy cabins, a variety of guest ranches and local lodges, and high-end resorts. Toss in a few great places to dine or grab a burger-and-beer combo, and we've got you covered for your relaxation off the water.
