We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, quality guides, and up-to-date knowledge of all things fly fishing. The GRG team is made up of some of the fishiest guys and gals in SW Montana.   • Content & Brand Marketing Manager

    JOB TITLE: Content & Brand Marketing Manager

    LOCATION: Big Sky, MT

    JOB TYPE: Salary, Full-Time 40 Hours/wk.



    The Content & Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for building, managing, and growing our brand presence across digital platforms, in-person outreach, and owned media channels. This role blends content creation, marketing strategy, community engagement, and performance tracking to strengthen brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business growth.

    This position will play a key role in shaping how our brand is experienced online, in-store, and in the community—ensuring our messaging is authentic, educational, and aligned with who we are and why we do what we do.

    Key Responsibilities


    Content Creation & Social Media


    Stay aligned with platform-specific algorithms and trends to maximize reach and engagement in order to properly manage multiple social media platforms

    • Develop a consistent and exciting content schedule that includes series such as tips & tricks, educational features, storytelling, and brand highlights

    • Manage and update website media, including fishing reports, blogs, and visual assets


    Digital Marketing


    • Create regular blog posts and email marketing campaigns

    • Track and analyze SEO performance and KPIs to ensure continued growth, relevance, and long-term visibility

    Brand Ambassador & Customer Engagement


    • Build authentic relationships with customers, partners, and community members

    • Serve as a visible, trusted face of the brand within the community

    In-Shop Customer Interaction (Support Role)

    • Provide limited in-store customer engagement as part of the role

    • Support customers with product knowledge, trip information, and general brand education

    • Assist retail staff during high-traffic periods or special events when needed

    • Extensive Fly-Fishing knowledge and experience

    • Strong storyteller with the ability to translate brand identity into engaging content

    • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple content streams

    • Creative, proactive, and trend-aware

    • Comfortable working cross-functionally with retail, operations, and leadership

    • Skilled in both creative production and analytical performance tracking

    • Passionate about community engagement and relationship-building

    • Must hold a valid driver's license

    OPPORTUNITY

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Get some. Gallatin River Guides is now on the hunt for 2027 Summer Staff employees to round out our team. You will play an essential role in the success of our business by assisting with our daily operations and customer service. Put your passion for fly fishing to use while continuing to gain knowledge in a fun and fast paced work environment.

    • You’ll be assisting clients, customers, and guides related to both retail and guide services
    • You’ll be administrating guide service bookings, and procedures
    • You’ll be stocking inventory, cleaning, and helping with daily fly shop duties
    • You’ll be answering telephone call, emails, and in person inquiries related to our guide service
    • You’ll be guiding clients on our private stocked pond
